Best Ski Resort 2012 with 41,864 interviewed winter sportsmen is the largest study of its kind. During last winter 55 ski resorts in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France were each visited four times. In huts and restaurants at the resorts, guests gave friendly information about their satisfaction.
Some prices of the sweepstakes couldn’t be handed over to the winners, as they have not registered their winning ticket number. If you are in possession of one of the lots with these numbers, please contact us and we will send you the price.
What emerged from the survey, you’ll find here. The two graphs show the results summarized – the top 10 ski resorts in the overall satisfaction and satisfaction with the top 3 ski areas in the individual category.
Top 10: The skiresorts with the highest overall satisfaction
The decision was very close. However, at the top of the list, there was the ski resort Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (Austria), prior to Saas-Fee and the Aletsch Arena (Switzerland). Fourth place share Zermatt, Lech / Zürs and the winner of 2010, namely Schladming. At the seventh position follows Kronplatz as the best South Tyrolean and Italian ski resort prior to Arosa, Ischgl and Gröden (Val Gardena).
The 3 best ski resorts in the categories
It’s interesting when you also look at the individual categories. In 21 categories, the satisfaction was rated on a scale of 1 to 10 – and indeed by the guests on site.
Thanks to all who participated in Best Ski Resort 2012!
